Mais algumas dicas.

Bom dia a todos.
Como já citei aqui no blog diversas vezes, adoro meus alunos, me orgulho de todos eles, sem exceção, são todos meus grandes amigos e pessoas muito inteligentes e cultas.
Entretanto, uma característica é comum a eles: como trabalham muito, alguns em lugares distantes, e quase todos estão na faculdade ou em alguma pós, têm muito pouco tempo para estudar.
E eu gostaria de compartilhar com as outras pessoas o que eu tenho falado a eles a respeito disso.
Por estudar, todos pensam em horas debruçados sobre livros, gramáticas e textos, preenchendo exercícios de tempos verbais, pronomes e vocabulários. Se isso for feito, será realmente maravilhoso e tornará o aluno sempre "afiado" para as aulas.
Isso seria o ideal mas existe algo bem mais relaxante e prazeroso e traz o mesmo resultado.
Por exemplo: para quem tem aulas terças e quintas. Nas aulas de quinta, por ter tido contato com Inglês há só 2 dias, o rendimento é sempre melhor. Mas para as aulas de terça, se a pessoa fica 5 dias sem nenhum contato com o idioma, tem dificuldades de lembrar de assuntos gramaticais e vocabulário. Se a ausência é de mais de uma semana o problema se agrava.
A solução é bem simples: tão importante quanto estudar é ter contato com a língua. Novamente voltando ao exemplo das aulas de terça e quinta, uma leitura atenciosa no fim de semana, só por 15 minutos e uma outra na segunda à noite, de outros 15, ajuda e muito no desempenho da próxima aula.
E o que eu mencionei de prazeroso acima é muito simples: não precisa nem pegar em livros: coloque um DVD com áudio e legenda em Inglês no fim de semana, você vai ter contato com Inglês por 1h30 ou mais se divertindo com o filme, mas, sem perceber, estará exercitando e muito suas habilidades de compreensão e análise em Inglês.
Música também é ótimo. Não tem paciência de ficar parado ouvindo ? Gosta muito de mpb, pagode ou forró ? Tudo bem. Ao dar uma caminhada, corrida ou pedalada no fim de semana, ouça as músicas de sua preferência no seu mp3, mas coloque algumas em Inglês. Também ajuda muito para as aulas e para o próprio desenvolvimento da aprendizagem da pessoa.

Last Weekend

Esta é uma espécie de diário da minha viagem a Angra. Prestem bastante atenção ao uso dos tempos verbais, palavras chave e ao vocabulário em geral.

Last Friday, my wife, my daughter and I went to a resort in Angra.
We had been counting down the days since April and finally it was time to go.
We woke up last Friday and unfortunately it was raining. We went by car and it took us 3 hours to get there. We went to our room, left our luggage there and went to the restaurant in order to have lunch. It was amazing ! It was delicious and there was a great variety of food.
At 3 o clock we took our daughter to "Kid´s Point" to play with other kids and then we slept almost 3 hours ( What a good sensation it is to sleep in cold weather in an excellent hotel in another city !)
Then we picked her up, had dinner, watched TV and went to bed.
Saturday was the best day. The weather was great and we could do a lot of things: first we had a huge breakfast, after that we spent long hours by the swimming pool having fun all the time. We played games, drank a lot (non-alchoholic drinks, ok ?), read and slept.
On Sunday we did the same but unfortunately, on Monday, our last day there, the weather was terrible again. It was worse than Friday and we slept until almost 11 a.m. That´s ok though because we were tired (What a wonderful thing it is to be tired of having fun !)
We came back home in the afternoon.

Tentei colocar várias construções que os brasileiros em geral têm muita dificuldade por pensar em Português. Tentem prestar atenção a todos os detalhes, ao uso de artigos, tempos verbais, expressões, ao IT que todo mundo esquece...
